Just as the message above, we need to have faith all throughout our lives. Our spouse is there for us to help us along the way, to help us grow and become the child of God we need to become. Elder Bednar shares, "The great plan of happiness enables the spirit sons and daughters of Heavenly Father to obtain physical bodies, to gain earthly experience, and to progress toward perfection. Gender is an essential characteristic of individual permortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose and in large measure difines who we are, why we are here upon the earth, and what we are to do and become. For divine purposes, male and femail spirits are different, distinctive, and complementary."
I am so thankful I have a good husband that I can share the eternities with. I am blessed to have Mike in my life. He truly is my helpmeet and such an incredible man. He and I have been through so much and we have only grown through it all. "Marriage is Essential to His Eternal Plan", said Elder David A. Bednar.
